Besides Best Buy's recycling program, how could I find out if there are recycling programs in the Washington, DC area for recycling household appliances? Namely, I have an old Eureka Victory upright vacuum that the housekeeper has finally suceeded in beating into the ground that I want to get rid of. In the meantime, I'm trying to get rid of the leftover unused parts (bags, belts, and filters) by reselling them on ebay.

Thanks. I'm already posting the leftover, unused filters, belts, and bags on ebay. Do you think any of the attachments would be resalable on ebay? Not the brushes of course, but maybe the crevice tool and the nested wands. Those, of course, would have to be posted as used.

I already listed the Eureka nested wands and crevice tool as used items on ebay. When stepfather and I picked up the Hoover Tempo Widepath that he ordered from Best Buy, we dropped off the Eureka for recycling. Now what is Best Buy going to do with the Eureka now that we dropped it off?
