Recycling (Going Green)

I recently replaced my old UPS, (Battery Back Up) with one purchased at Brooks City Base in San Antonio, TX (Store 1081). The old one was also from Best Buy. I called to ask if they would recycle my old one and they said no. Is this correct? Thanks.

Hi SA,

I truly do apologize for the delay in my response to your question! The store was incorrect that our recycling program in our stores would not accept an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS). I have contacted this store and informed them that they should accept UPS's for our recycling program. If you haven't already gotten this UPS recycled by our store they should be able to recycle this for you now. If you still end up being told they don't accept these electronics send me a private message by logging into the forum, clicking on my icon, and then clicking on the send this user a private message link.
