Recycling question

I already searched this community for an answer, but unable to find any. I just bought 55" TV from bestbuy.com with home delivery service and I want my old 32" CRT to be haul away for recyclying. During the online ordering, I was't asked if there is any old TV that I wish to be haul away for recycling. So I called bestbuy customer service to get more info and possibly arrange this haul away on the day my TV is deliver but I have been passed from one department to another until no one is answering the call and hung up. I sent an email to customer service and I get an respond in canned message to check the website (really? Do they even read the email?). I called the local Bestbuy store in GA and once again put on hold until the call is terminated.

It seems no one in bestbuy knew the process for their recycling programme. Looks very impressive in Website about their recycling programme, but no one can explain to their customer how or what to do? Their website is saying free haul away for recycling upon delivery of your new TV, but I don't want to make that assumption. I also don't want to bring the old mammoth TV to the store and later to be told they won't accept it unless I pay them a fee.

Can someone from bestbuy tell me what is the correct process here in GA?

Re: Recycling question

Hi llcool944,

I truly am sorry for the delay in my response to this, and I would assume you have gotten this taken care of by now. Our basic delivery service of a TV includes the haul-away of one TV, which means this isn’t something you have to schedule separate from the delivery of your TV. I hope this helps!
