Re: Floppy Disks

I turn green every time I reread this discussion, honestly.

AOL disketts still haunt me.

AOL CD's were even more evil. I understand that if you play them backwards you turn into Lady Gaga.

Oh.. pop culture reference FTW!

If you like my post, or solution to your issue/question, go ahead and click on the little star by my name and/or accept the post as the Solution. It makes me happy.

I'm NOT an employee of Best Buy, or Geek Squad, though I did work as an Agent for a year. None of my posts are to be taken as the official stance that Best Buy will take on your situation. My advice is just that, advice.
Unfortunately, that's the bad luck of any electronic, there's going to be bad Apples... wait that's a horrible pun.

Re: Floppy Disks

ROFL. That's classic. It's been a LONG time since I've seen one of those discs. :smileyhappy:

'The Future. Now Available'.

Actually, they were pretty accurate, in a dial-up sort of sense.

Re: Floppy Disks

I had a digital camera (still worked, sold it in a garage sale 2 years ago) that saved photos onto the 3.5 inch floppy disks. The disks held up to 40 pictures each. The reason I sold it is I no longer have a computer whose "A" drive accepts these disks and could no longer transfer photos to my computer (USB did not exist at the time).

Before posting I try to research everything first or use my own experiences. I do not now nor have I ever worked for Best Buy. I work for the competition.
If you respond to a post of mine, I will read it. I may or may not post in the thread again, but rest assured I will read your response :smileyhappy:
