Every year I take several backpack camping trips to photograph the outdoors, and of course just enjoying nature and all its beauty. I always bring backup batteries for my cameras since I am usually miles away from civilization, and my wife usually brings her iPod and her point and shoot camera. We both of course bring our cell phones in case of an emergency, but by the end of the trip the only thing that still has a charge is usually my cameras (thanks to the backup batteries and the quality of Nikon's rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries)
 
I recently discovered a great device on BestBuy.com called the Solio Solar Charger, which can charge any device that uses a USB port to charge. Now when we go camping we will no longer spend our last day in nature without my wife having a camera that works, or both of us having phones in case of an emergency. This is one green product that is both good for the environment and convenient!
