Premier Silver Membership

Best Buy, why do you bothered with this Premier Silver membership when you don't even bothered to give the premier silver services?  Is this just a pure marketing thing that some dumb MBA guy suggested during a Monday morning marketing meeting and management bite into?

Can't speak for anyone else, but I think getting access to the Black Friday Sale 3 days early and online was pretty sweet. I bought new Klipsch front speakers for my HT and an ASUS tablet, saved about $400 and didn't have to line up and spend 12 hours in 40 degree temperatures to do so... but that's just me.

Much ado about nothing if you ask me.  I used to be a huge fan due to th napster offering every 6 months because it meant year-round music streaming which I enjoyed.  That was a tangible enough benefit that I actually steered business purchases to best buy to maintain my status.  Now that this benefit is only 1x a year... its less incentive and I'm back to steering my purchases wherever I can find the best deal.

Black Friday was a good benefit and I did get something out of the deal, but their execution was horrible and the whole process was maddening due to their websites not working.

the free shipping(not always the fastest though), extra RZ points, Silver only perks(I got my Iphone much cheaper during a Silver only coupon deal) & 45 day return/exchange have all come in handy for me. I would like to see them fully expand the program though & provide more perks or increase the perks along with added more spending tiers above Silver which has been requested tons of times.

I got fed up with them and cancelled my RZ membership a couple of months ago, and I was a Premier member.  Other than the occasional cd, I do not shop there anymore, and I used to by all of my appliances at BB.
