I thought I reached the level for continuing premier silver a while back in 2011, but the silver status is still showing as expiring in Feb. 2012. I started adding up the 2011 purchases and stopped adding when I got over $2500, but I think the total is around $4000. What's the story here? {removed per forum guidelines}

Hello chazbestbuy and TULFan,
Thank you both for your posts! Due to the New Year, the Premier Silver status bar had reset for calculating points during 2012.
It appears that both of your accounts have updated at this time; however, if you have any additional questions please feel welcome to reach out to me by clicking on the "Private Message" link by my name below.
Thank you both for all of your time! Have a wonderful weekend,

I also am wondering about my Premier silver status. I calculated and am sure I reached the 2500 to hit silver before december ended. But it's still showing as a core member. Now I'm back at $0 spent and wondering what now?

I spent over $6000 at Best Buy in 2011. And have been trying since October to get the purchases recognized and recorded. Was just informed by email after numerous phone calls, emails, and Store visits, that my case had been reviewed and that I would lose my Permier Silver status at the end of February. I have been asked to send in the receipts AGAIN, and have been told that I would hear back in 7-10 business days. None of the previous inquiries resulted in a promised returned call or email.
Case numbers: 94141970 abd 818779
Am thinking of taking all of my business to Amazon.com--it has better prices, better customer service. I guess Amazon is really the "Best Buy!"

That's an awesome system they've got going there.
