Hello.
I have been trying to add mysilver Reward Zone number to my bestbuy.com account so that I can make purchases online and get free shipping, b ut I get the following message:
Some of the information in this BestBuy.com account does not match the information that is associated with this Reward Zone member ID. Please check your member ID and try again. If you still have problems, call 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289).
My name, email address, home address, zip code, phone number etc, all match between the two accounts. So I don't know why I am getting this message.
I have called customer support and spoken to three different people, all of who were also unable to help me. They all see the information as matching between the accounts as well.
This is getting to be frustrating for me

I'm having the same exact problem. I keep having to put my online order numbers into the form to report missing purchases on the reward zone site in order to get credit for my online purchases.

Ditto on this problem for me - but I don't want to go through with the purchase unless I can get my free shipping, unless Best Buy will refund the shipping costs to me.

The last post on this thread contained the answer:
You guys need to change your BestBuy.Com shipping information and your MyRZ.Com mailing information to the address you used when your FIRST signed up for a BestBuy.Com account.
Once you do that, it'll let you link the accounts.
Then go back and immediately change the addresses to what they should be. It worked for me.

As I mentioned in our conversation, there is currently some type of system issue causing this error and we are currently working to get it corrected as quickly as possible – thank you for your continued patience in the meantime.
Also, if anybody else needs help with this – linking your Reward Zone member number to your BestBuy.com account, please send me a private message with your information as it should appear in your account (name, member number, address, phone number, and email address) and I will make sure it is corrected as quickly as possible as well.

Thank you again for contacting me about this. While looking into the matter, I found that at times the correction only involves updating your zip code and other information on our end; however, at other times, from what I understand, a technical issue is involved, which is currently being looked into.
If you are having trouble with this, please send me a private message with your information. You can send a private message by clicking on the “private message” envelope in the upper right-hand corner of the page, and then composing a new message to my username “SARAH-BBY”.
Thank you to those for your continued patience while we resolve this situation and I will update you as soon as I have any new information.
