Early Black Friday Deals

So I'm guessing all this stuff on the Monday 12pm-Midnight deal are things that need to be shipped to your home, correct? Do you know how long it will take them to send it out and what kind of shipping is used?

What a shame!! I placed my call at 11:59. Made it through the phone system by 12:01. Was told the wait time was 10 minutes. After waiting 25 mins. my call was answered. Went through the whole ordering process. Waited for managers approval on price change. Gave credit information. Etc. and only then was told the item I wanted was no longer available in my area. No reprise except to call customer service. Called customer service. Went through computer system twice to be sent to a busy signal and dropped. Finally made it through without getting dropped and have now been on hold for another 21 minutes. I'm rethinking my the value of my premier membership. If I don't get some response soon the rest of my Christmas shopping (and beyond) will NOT be at Best Buy. Nice way to spend my lunch hour!!!!!

I completely agree.  I was on hold for 1 hour after I was told the wait would be less than 20 min. I called at exactly 11:00 MST.  I finally got a customer service person who asked me what I wanted. I never even got out the item name when I was put on hold mid sentence.  I called customer service who put me right back in the same queue.  Even farther back from where I started.  I'm sure by the time I speak to a human again. My item will be sold out.  What a waste of time best buy is.  I've ripped up my premier membership. It's a joke.

This is ridiculous I had the exact same problem, except after 1 hour of being on hold, a lady answered and I told her what I wanted, she said one moment, and then click she hung up on me! What's the point or advantage of being a reward zone premier member if they don't even give you a proper opportunity to get any of their deals. This is total crap. Now when I call back there's an automated message telling me to call back later. They better do something about this because this is just ridiculous being put on hold for an hour only to be hung up on.

I went through the same thing today.  I called at 12:57 PM EST and after going through the menu options, waited on hold for over 30 minutes.  As soon as I spoke to a rep, I was transferred in order to place an order.  Imagine my anger when I was disconnected!

 

Called back and sat on hold for 45 minutes only to be told the items were no longer availableand I could have my call ascalated and speak with a supervisor.

 

I've spent over $7,000 this year at Best Buy and over $40K on my RewardsZone Credit Card every year.  For what???

Okay, this is crazy. The Toshiba Laptop is what I was trying to buy back at 12:30 CST. Since decado was able to buy it at 3:20 CST I called back. Wait time 5 minutes (took 3 minutes). This time I was told up front that the item was out of stock. I then asked if the one with the printer was available (our printer is on the fritz). It was. I bought it. Frustration!!!

I can tell you from experience with the situation that items have been bouncing back and forth between being available and being out. What we've been told is currently out of stock is both Compaq computers and both Toshiba laptops as well as the western digital external hard drive. That's all I can tell you at the moment.

I called shortly after it started, stayed on the phone for an hour before I had to disconnect and go to an appointment. Called back later only to be told the netbooks I wanted were out of stock already. No rainchecks, no discounts on another item of similiar quality. The rep told me that they were not aware of the silver member sale today so they had no idea of all the calls they were to receive. After all I spend in Best Buy I expected more that what I received-no product available-curt representative-no offering of any other discount-nothing to make me want to shop there again. Not very happy.
