Problems activating reward zone card

Is anyone else having problems activating their reward zone card? I've been trying to activate my card since Tuesday morning and every time I go through the process of filling out the info, choosing a password and security questions, then submit the information, I get a message that says "We're sorry. We are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later." I've called Customer Service 3 times about this and the first time I was told it was just a glitch and to try again later and call if it didn't work. I did that and it didn't work. I called back and was told it was probably an issue with the site and that they would contact someone to fix the site. I was told to try again a day later. I tried Wednesday. I tried Thursday. I called customer service Thursday and was told again that it was the site and they would contact someone to fix it. I tried again this morning and it's still not working. I'm really fed up at this point, especially because I just spent over $500 this past week at Best Buy. A) I'd like to be able to activate the card so I can earn the points for my purchases and B) when I spend upwards of $500 somewhere I would hope the service would be better. Anyone else having this issue?

Re: Problems activating reward zone card

Still not working as of today. I even sent an email to Customer Service earlier this week and no response. Really getting fed up. I'm calling them again today. This will be my 4th call.

Re: Problems activating reward zone card

Have you been trying from the same computer? Have you tried clearing the cache and deleting cookies? I would give that a try and see if that changes things. Otherwise, I would let one of the community connectors look into this issue. However, the earliest someone could look at it would be Monday. So, be patient, and someone will come around...

Re: Problems activating reward zone card

I've tried from my laptop and four different computers at work. I called customer service today and spoke to someone who then spoke to her supervisor because she got the same error message when she tried to enter my information. She said it has something to do with their digital switchover on October 31st or something and that it's a glitch with the website. She said she was going to send some message to a department to take care of the issue and that they should be sending me an email in a few days.

Probably the Research department...I would give them a few days and see what's going on. They're usually pretty good at coming up with a solutions, as are the community connectors on here. Be patient and I'm sure that someone will be able to figure out what's going on.

Re: Problems activating reward zone card

I too cannot activate my account.  I've made it to the email varificaiton page, hit the confirmation link in the message, and it comes up as a bad URL.  I'm concerned because I just dropped $3,000 at Best Buy and those reward points were a much needed perk.  Help?

Re: Problems activating reward zone card

My activation finally went through on Wednesday. I never heard back from customer service, but decided to give it a try that day and it worked, although where it asked for email address there was red text under the box saying I couldn't use that email (even though that's my primary email address and the one I gave to them at the store when I signed up for Reward Zone) so I had to choose a new email address and my activation worked. My advice from my experience is to be persistent. I called customer service 4 times before I finally got anywhere, and even after calling them a 4th time last week, I still didn't receive a call back or email or anything like they said I would get. I just happened to try again on Wednesday and it worked. I even email customer service over a week and a half ago and never received a response. So just be persistent. I even went as far as tweeting my frustration and I actually received a couple tweets back from Best Buy, that worked better than emailing customer service.
