Hi. I just made a big purchase of 2000 dollars a week ago on a new tv and geek squad install, as well as warranty extension. I had just got the triple reward points offer thing in my email for my Feb. birthday. I used it and it was only good on 1 item(tv was one of the exceptions, so it applied to the geek squad install). Now, I get an email offering triple points this weekend, good on entire purchase! Ouch...it of course excludes previous purchases...some birthday gift! Anyway an exeption can be made for me so I can be made whole and get triple points on the whole purchase? I was better off not having a birthday as it stands now....

Yes, I am a Silver Reward member. I went to the store last night and the customer service guy was very cool about it. He said these kind of things happen(software sends out the birthday stuff automatically, even when unwise to do so as in this case). He said to bring in my paperwork and he can put the triple points on the entire purchase after the fact.

Hey inky1600,
Happy birthday to you! I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with our Community.
Congratulations on your new TV purchase. I can certainly understand your concern after you used your birthday coupon and then a weekend offer was presented for Premier Silver members to receive triple points on an entire purchase. While the offer for double/triple points is not a reoccurring offer, I am glad to read that the store was able to further assist you with this.
Thank you for all of your time! Please feel welcome to reach out to me on this thread or via private message, if you have any additional questions or concerns. To send me a private message, click on the "Private Message" link by my name below.
