I'm highly unsatisfied by the notification given when certificates are auto issued. There is nothing sent when it's nearing expiration? You send one email and hope it doesn't get lost in the multiple messages sent daily by Best Buy. I went to purchase something today only to see I have few points relative to the purchases I have made. The certicate expired less than a week ago. Several companies send multiple reminders to let a consumer know they need to use something before it's expired because they want to make sure they're getting your money. Why doesn't Best Buy do that?

Hello eli5ta -
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your expired rewards certificates. I imagine you were quite discouraged to see such a low amount of points since certificates had been issued, and expired.
I'm sorry to hear you've been left disappointed by our program as you didn't receive notification that your certificates were expiring. Unfortunately once a certificate expires, we're generally unable to reissue it. Please know that certificates typically expire 60 days after being issued unless otherwise noted, per the My Best Buy program terms. You may always check on your available certificates by logging into BestBuy.com.
With that said, I have some further information regarding your account that I would like to share with you via private message. You may check your messages by clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the page once you've signed in.
