Can you reinstate or extend an expiration date for a rewards certificate? Recently noticed a $25 certificate has expired (as of Sept 2nd) & I have a purchase in mind. By the way, I think the expiration of rewards certificate is ludicrous especially within the short time frame you provide. I might as well take extra time searching for the product on Amazon or other online retailer. It will probably save me the $20-$25 I had the privilege to earn through your rewards program. It is really disappointing and does not really breed brand/customer loyalty.

Hello Jamison -
Welcome to the forum and thank you for reaching out to us regarding your expired certificate! I'm sorry to hear you've been left disappointed by the amount of time customers such as yourself have to redeem these rewards, though I greatly appreciate your feedback.
As you seem to be aware, certificates typically expire after 60 days. With that said, we generally cannot reissue these certificates. I apologize for any disappointment that this news may cause you. For more information, I would encourage you to review the My Best Buy program terms.
With that said, I have further details regarding your account that I would like to discuss with you privately. Please see that I'm sending you a private message that you may view once you've signed into the forum by clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the page.
