This is ridiculous.
When I first signed up for Best Buy's Reward Zone, the program has become a blight on the company where it concerns customer service. My complaints?
1. RZ Staff no longer respond to inquiries from its members.
2. RZ points are no longer applied, even after repeated email messages inquiring about points.
3. RZ takes 40-60 days to apply the points.
It's very sad when Best Buy touts off Reward Zone as a major benefit for its consumers yet when those consumers wait the 30 days, Best Buy is slower than molasses when applying those points. I have a new slogan for Best Buy's Reward Zone program when posting points to a customer's account:
"When I Feel Like It" or "When I have Time"

RZ points are applied after the return period has elapsed. This is to prevent points from being issued and coupons being redeemed ... b/c if this happens then a client returns an item, the points have to be subtracted, which can leave a client's point balance in the negatives. If you're a RZ Premier Silver member w/ the extended return policy, you'd have to keep that in mind, too. Most items carry a 30 day retrun/exchange policy so I'd say points tend to post 30-45 days-ish after the initial date of purchase.

Since I posted this topic, I had received a message from Kyle, to which he's currently addressing some of the biggest problems regarding the program. There seems to be some serious problems regarding the application of points and of email messages being ignored and he plans on addressing those problems as well as discussing those with upper management.
From what he has told me, he's going to look into the problems and that, from what I told Kyle, that I think it's concentrated mainly on customer service regarding the program.

Let us know what ends up coming of everything! I'm sure Kyle will be of great assistance.

I'll do that.
I know that there are a lot of upset RZ members who aren't happy with the program and I'm sure this will come as welcome news to a lot of members.
