I made a purchase on BestBuy.com last January and was automatically given a reward certificate b/c of the points earned on the order. I got an email saying my points were about to expire so I logged in expecting to see my rewards certificate but it is gone.
How do I get my reward certificate back? I have made no purchases since that initial purchase?

Good morning hclayton and welcome,
It's fantastic to hear you shopped with us a year ago! I'm sure when you logged in expecting to see your reward certificate you were caught off guard to see it was unavailable. I'm glad you've reached out to see what may have happened and what may be done.
While points don't expire on active accounts, reward certificates do. Generally reward certificates are valid for 60 days unless otherwise noted, so your certificate would have expired sometime ago. Once a certificate expires, we're generally unable to reissue it. As you haven't made a purchase since this one, your points would be due to expire soon due to inactivity. I apologize for any disappointment that this news may cause you, but hope it clarifies your experience.
