This is from the program rules: Program Annualization
At the beginning of every calendar year, the Points in your account (except for Reward Zone program Credit Card members, Reward Zone program MasterCard card members and Premier Silver members) will be issued as Reward Certificates down to the $5 level and any remaining Points balance will be forfeited. You will begin earning Points for the new calendar year on January 1. For example, if you have 300 Points, you will receive a $5 Reward Certificate (250 Points) and you will forfeit 50 Points.
I am a Reward Zone program Credit Card member and I am a Reward Zone member. I lost points on both of my accts. I didn't know until recently(last 2 months) that I had 2 seperate accts. I had these accts for a couple years now. When I signed up for the Reward Zone program Credit Card i thought it was going to continue with my reward zone membership but I guess it didn't. As I understand the statement above it says EXCEPT for Reward Zone program Credit Card members, Reward Zone program MasterCard card members and Premier Silver members. So that means that my points for one of my accts shouldnt have expired because i am a reward zone credit card member right? If that is true then I want my points back on my acct. Its a loyalty rewards membership the points really shouldnt expire. I dont spend tons of money but i do CHOSE to spend money at best buy over other places like target, walmart, etc.. because of the rewards program. its like looking forward to something then it gets taken away so quickly.
I have another issue with this program. I purchased items in the month of dec at different dates all xmas gifts for people. According to the "RULES" it takes 35 days or so to post to my acct. I just barely got the points added to my acct and they are gone now. those points were officially added to my acct in jan 2012. I should still have the points.
I have yet another issue with rewards program. I bought something online at the beginning of last week and i couldnt use my reward zone member number cause the info didnt match. I dont see how it couldnt have matched when all the info was exactly the same down to the apt #. I have been trying to report the points missing and it says it cant find my transaction. it has been more than 5 days and i have been waiting. Best buy has taken the money out of my bank acct and has been shipped to my house and the product will be here tomorrow.
Also i didn't know you can join your accts if you have more than one. I found out today reading the forums that you can. i searched all over the rewards zone website cant find anthing that shows you how to do. I would like both my accts combined to my rewards zone credit card acct. I would like help with this matter.
Best Buy should make it easier for us(the consumer) to do this ourselves instead of having to rely on customer service reps.
CAN I PLEASE GET HELP ON ALL THESE ISSUSES?

I like how they have customer service reps on her responding to porblems and its been atleast a week for me and I dont have any response. I have emailed customer service as well and I have no reply back. I never really had problems with best buy until I get one problem then it seems im getting more and more. I guess I will be buying my eletronics from other stores. Replying to someones problems shouldn't be taking this long. Customer Service shouldnt take this long. I have worked many years in customer service job and taking this long to respond show that Best Buy doesn't care about its customers.

20 days later and i still have no responcs to emails i have sent customer service. and no response on here. I will be cancelling my best buy credit card. Best Buy has the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I can buy all the same stuff at walmart or target or anything other major store. Best Buy is not worth the rewards points or maybe the $2 i could save on a TV. Not shopping there anymore. And be sure that i have spent plenty of my money there and i get no help with an issue

Thank you for all of your patience and reaching out to our Community! You are correct about our credit card holders being exempt from the Point Annualization and I would like to take a closer look at your accounts to see what happened.
Also, it does appear that you do have another Reward Zone account. The process, in which we merge accounts, we would close one account and then move any unused points/certificates from the closed account to the active/primary account.
To better assist you, I have sent you a private message so we may be able to discuss the details of your account. To check your messages please ensure that you are logged into the forum and click on the envelope icon in the upper right hand corner of the page.
I look forward to hearing from you!

No thanks i dont want your help anymore. For the fact that it took so long to respond to my post and im still waiting for a response to an email i sent through the reward zone website and i sent that before i posted on here. I know my problem is a simple fix and it shouldnt have taken this long to respond. the minute i threatened to stop shopping at best buy then you respond. NO THANK YOU. I will take my business else where.
