Points calculation appears to be off

Howdy,

 

I've got $1876.02 in purchases this year so far. According to my rewards page, you show $1369 in purchases.

 

I know my most recent purchase had $100 of the $399 paid for using a gift card, but I am not sure why there is such a discrepancy otherwise. I feel like I should be at the Elite level by now. 

 

Can anyone assist?

Welcome to the forum! Keeping an eye on your spending total so you know when you can expect to be upgraded is a great habit to have. With that said, I can understand how discouraging it might be to see numbers that don't seem to match up with your spending. 

As you seem to already know, portions of purchases paid for by gift card wouldn't count towards your tier spending. Additionally, portions of purchases paid for by reward certificate wouldn't either, and the spending bar is based on your pre-tax total. For more information on qualifying purchases, please feel welcome to review our My Best Buy program terms
 

Based on this information, I would encourage you to review your purchase history again. If you still believe the spending total to be inaccurate, please let me know and I'll be sure to take a closer look at this.

I added up all purchases and omitted taxes and gift cards and I am still well over what my account shows. I sent you a PM with details.
