Welcome to the forum and thank you for reaching out to us regarding your pending points! I'm discouraged to hear you may be continuing to see some of your points from your TV purchase pending, which you intended to convert into certificates to use on your soundbar purchase. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this experience may have caused you. 

Please know that a fix has been rolled out, so you (as well as others) may see an update on your account soon. However, please be aware it may take some time for this fix to correct everyone's accounts. At this time, I would encourage you to continue to keep an eye on your account for any updates. I apologize if this isn't the news you wanted to hear, as I understand this is essentially the same response you've previously received.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for reaching out regarding the other 5% of your rewards that you state haven't posted. You'll notice I moved your post to this thread as many customers have had issues with their points. Please take a moment to review my previous responses. 

I'm sorry to hear you may not be seeing your full points posted for your first credit card purchase. Using the details you registered with the forum, I see the extra 5% appears to have posted on our end, but continues to remain as pending on yours. I'm glad to say though that we've rolled out a fix, although it may take awhile for everyone's accounts to update. 

At this time, I would encourage you to keep a close eye on your account for any updates. If you have any other concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via private message.

Pending Points issue

I appear to be having what looks like a common pending points problem.

I have 4933 points pending from a Feb 2 purchase.

 

I know it's only 2 days past the 20, but I'm waiting on them for an additional purchase.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

While I'm glad to say a fix has been rolled out, it may take a bit for everyone's accounts to reflect the fix. I understand you're waiting on these points to make a purchase with a certificate, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

REwards points, STILL not showing up, 26 days later, despite a FIX 5 days ago

I am totally totally totally frustrated.

ready to get rid of bestbuy credit card too.

points (4500 of them) STILL locked, not released, 26 days from purchase.

forums stated a FIX was present, 5 days ago.

 

This is a joke.

 

ONE company, ONE stock symbol - THUS, store should be able to see my points, translate them to dollars, and let me use them as desired.

step 1, just discontinued all bestbuy emails, unsubscribed to them.

if you can't fix my points, i don't need the ads.

perhaps if the points get fixed, i'll re-subscribe

Wow. Just wow. I'm so surprised at how fast people get upset these days. It used to be, granted years ago now, that I would have to wait 35 days after my purchase for points to post. Now Best Buy has apparently shortened that time down to 15-20 days, and if it takes a few days longer people go nuclear.
I guess I can wait, I guess my purchases don't revolve around my points. Hope your points post soon. I don't *think* you can apply them to prior purchases (that soundbar in your other post).
Forums don't State a fix was done, just that they were working on a fix.

Before posting I try to research everything first or use my own experiences. I do not now nor have I ever worked for Best Buy. After a year and a half hiatus, I'm back working for the competition.

Keep in mind it took them about 3 month after switching to a new system last May to fix the problems they had that time. I understand people's frustration with it when it is happening again less than a year later with the same "we are working on a fix" I have been a rewards member since I think 2004 or 2005 and I have never seen problems like this. They used to have yearly change over maintenance that was scheduled for 2 weeks or so. But that was scheduled and on the old system that they said needed a upgrade but have had nothing but problems with the upgrade over the past year.

I purchased a large ticket item.

I opened a bestbuy charge card.

I was told that within two weeks (15 days) I'd have the points, equivalent to 10% of the purchase price approx.

I PAID OFF the credit total that day, BECAUSE that was what I was promised.

My subsequent purchase WAS based on anticipation of the points.

I'm not rich. I haven't upgraded my audio/video equipment for a long time , and this looked like a good oportunity to do this.

 

I have approx. $100.00 in points being held up.  I ANTICIPATED using THAT for parts of the upgrade, NOT outlaying other cash.

 

No, I won't die if they don't fix it.

BUT, just like if a credit card machine breaks in the store, and they manually enter a transaction;  so too can someone do this with points.  They know the value of the points, they know how many I have (it shows on the screen as #### pending points)

 

IMAGINE what bestbuy would do if the STOCK EXCHANGE were down this long (we're waiting for a fix....)

 

anyway, just my humble two cents on this

I too have had a similar issue, however it has been more than 20 days since my purchase.  I made a purchase of $1916 (without taxes) on Feb 4th.  My account does not show any pending point nor that the points have been redeemed for a rewards certificate.  The only certificate I show is an older one for $10.  I know that this is not the certificate for my recent purchase due.  Would you be able to provide any additional insight into why the points have not reflected in my account?  My account does show this as a recent purchase but no points pending.
