Order placement glitch, reward points not returned

I was placing an order earlier using reward points and for whatever reason during the last step in the order placement page, the site indicated that it had glitched and that my order did not go through.

 

However, upon trying to place the order again a few minutes later, the system now says that the reward certificate I was attempting to use had already been redeemed and cannot be resued.

 

I did not receive an order confirmation number. Reward points had not been returned to my account.

 

Please help, as I would like to place the preorder for a video game collector's edition.

It's wonderful to hear you wish to pre-order a collector's edition of a game with us! I'm sorry you may have encountered an error when placing this order that ultimately led to your certificate reflecting as redeemed. 

 

When such an error occurs, it is admittedly unlikely that your certificate will be returned to you within the usual 3-6 business days. Sadly, it seems I was unable to locate your My Best Buy membership using the details you registered with the forum to take a closer look. Please see that I am sending you a private message to gather more information. You may check your private messages by signing into the forum then clicking the envelope icon in the top right corner of the page.
