No response to customer service e-mail. Not receiving bonus points

Hi,

 

I tried e-mailing Reward Zone customer service and never got a reply, so I'm going to try here. The following are the two e-mails I sent:

Hi,

My purchases on 04/06/2011 and 04/07/2011, both of which were purchases of "XBOX 360 WIRELESS CONTROLLER," did not receive any credit toward my Gamer Club account. Combined, these purchases were about $120, which is almost the equivalent of a 500 Gamer Club point bonus. Would it be possible to credit my account for the 500 points that were not awarded as a customer service adjustment? My account information is listed below. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi,

I made a purchase from 1-800-flowers.com through the Reward Zone Online Mall over the Mother's Day Weekend. At that time, there was a special offer for earning 10 points per dollar spent, plus an additional 250 bonus points, through May 9. I received the 10 points per dollar, but did not receive the 250 bonus points. The offer, which has since expired, is no longer on Myrz.com, but here is a Google Cache version of the offer:

Yeah I feel your pain I have sent SEVERAL emails to customer service and NEVER got a response. Don't expect much from calling them either. I have also called several times over the last month and have yet to settle my pressing issue that some other dudes email address got over written onto my login info when they moved to their new system. I cannot link to my bestbuy.com account to use my reward card for online purchases. I cannot update my login or password because the system fails every time. The only response I ever get from calling them is that they are sending it to their back office and i should get a response via email in 7-10 days and that NEVER happens either. I have had it with this customer service experience its AWFUL BESTBUY!!!

Please be aware that due to the large number of open threads constantly being started and continued, it takes 3 to 5 weekdays for a Community Connector to read and respond to your post, so please be patient; you will get a response from them. However, to answer your questions as best as I can...

Email #1) So did you get the 120 regular RZ points from these purchases?
Since it has been longer than 35 days, you should have received credit for those. If not, then you need to report the missing purchases and this would also be why the $120 spent is not reflected in your Gamer Club running total. While someone may make a "Customer Appreciation" offer, they won't bend the rules and give you the 500 points for not actually having spent the full $150 needed. A Community Connector will look into your account and verify the purchases, making sure you didn't buy them with rewardzone certificates or gift cards (because you wouldn't get credit for spending gift cards or certificates), and get back to you.

Email #2) The Google Cache you supply doesn't go anywhere, it comes back as "did not match any documents." I was surprised to learn you already received the 10 points per $1 spent as purchases through the online mall can take 6 to 8 weeks for a person to get the credit. If you qualified for the extra 250 ponts, since I don't have access to the page you were referring to I don't know what the terms were, they may take 6 weeks or so to be awarded to you.


Before posting I research everything first or use my own experiences. I love Best Buy even though I work for a competitor, I do not now nor have I ever worked for Best Buy.
