Missing Rewards Points + Error when Reporting

On January13, 2017, I preordered the Nintendo Switch - Neon version and was told that, with my preorder, I would be available for so many rewards points due to the total paid being over $300 USD; however, over a month later, those points have yet to appear. I have tried logging the points as missing; however, the system does not recognize the information I input as being valid. I have wondered if these points would appear after pickup, or if I should expect a pending points status for this. Either way, any assistance on this matter would be much appreciated, since, as a new Best Buy Rewards member, I am somewhat unfamiliar with the processes that surround this reward retrieval program. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad to hear you were able to pre-order a Nintendo Switch with us.


Not seeing a purchase on your My Best Buy membership would be disconcerting, and I'm glad you've already followed the process to attempt adding the purchase! Please know you would not be likely to see this purchase pending in your account until after the order is fulfilled. Once fulfilled, you may see it as pending as it may take up to 20 days for it to post to your account. 

Using the details you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your order and I see your membership is correct associated with the pre-order. It should be added to your membership after fulfillment without any issues! If you have any other concerns, please let me know.
