Misled by employee bad experience by both employee and manager

I purchased a 70' tv on 3/31 worked with Victor at Houston Greenspoint store # GREENPOINT Store # 215 . I was told by Victor I would get a $95 GC back which is 5% of purchase price I just needed to wait 2 weeks after purchase . 2 weeks rolled by logged in my acct & realized its not there called CS stated it wasnt added . Called and spoke with manager named : Zatima , she stated that i had to charge the tv on the best buy cc to get $95 back . Told her Victor never mentioned that & that I probably would not have bought the tv being that I needed a bigger tv stand or wall mount and i was going to use that $95 to buy one .  Zatima continued 3 times telling that was the policy , she didnt even express concern nor empathy nor did she try to work a solution. It was the worst customer experience I've was involved in a long time I will not go to this store bcz the employees are not held acctountable for lying & misleading customers .

Re: Misled by employee bad experience by both employee and manager

Hello TWCSTC -

Welcome to the forum, although I wish it were under better circumstances. I'm sure you were incredibly excited to  make your TV purchase with Victor, and news of the rewards you could earn made you eager to make the purchase.

With that said, it's truly discouraging to hear that you anticipated receiving $95 (5% back) in reward certificates for your TV purchase, regardless of your payment method. I apologize if Victor wasn't clear in the requirements to earn such rewards, and if you were disappointed in the way Zatima handled your concerns when you brought them to her attention. Unfortunately though, this offer would only be fulfilled when paying by a My Best Buy credit card with standard financing.

Using the details you registered with the forum, please know I see you've also discussed this with our phone support teams and have accepted a resolution. Please know that I will be sure your frustrations have been thoroughly noted so that we may have your feedback available for future reference when looking at how we may improve our processes in the future. If you should have any other questions, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Tasha-BBY , I know your job is to express empathy professionally but let me be clear to you that I did not accept any resolution when i called I just simply had no choice. What will make me start looking somewhere else for electonics other than Best Buy is Victor & Zatima those two made my experience with Best Buy a nightmare. Maybe you should use action rather than useless words to make a long time dedicated customer like myself happy by honoring what Victor offerred when I bought the TV

Hi there TWCSTC -

Unfortunately we will not be able to provide you with any additional points for this purchase as you did not meet the requirements of the offer. I am truly sorry if you were provided any misinformation regarding how such points were earned, but I'll be sure your frustrations are well noted.

Respectfully,

Re: Misled by employee bad experience by both employee and manager

I dont know if it being "well noted" about those two bad employees will do anything for me. But I would rather you report those two employees that are doing damage to my business with Best Buy to corporate so they can do a better job of disciplining them than you are . Because as i indicated before I probably would not have bought the TV if Victor had'nt have told me his misleading offer
