Since a week has gone by thought I'd post an update for people who aren't involved in PM exchanges.

 

As of right now my problem isn't resolved.  There were more than ten bonus instances in my account that a Best Buy representative and her supervisor absolutely confirmed were earned and mine, that were then deleted from my account.  I am engaged in back and forth PMs, and they assure me that they are looking into it, but as of right now absolutely nothing has changed with my situation, which has been a problem since around mid-August.

 

I don't think that ANYONE at Best Buy has any idea right now what's going on, and I would advise everyone to take one or two roads:

 

IF you have all kinds of free time on your hands, begin doing BBYs job for them, by keeping detailed records, copying receipts, and building some kind of spreadsheet to check the math that they can't seem to get right themselves...in this way you won't get burned.  OR...

 

If you do NOT have time to take on a second job as Best Buy Math Checker, I would suggest you not allow RZ to figure into any of your purchase decisions, as you'll never be sure if you're actually going to get them...or if you'll get them after months and months...OR you'll get them, and then they'll just vanish.  Buy stuff at Best Buy based ONLY on whether or not it's the absolute lowest price, and if it's not order it online or buy it at the other retailer.

 

It's terrible that this is the case, but it's taken them weeks and weeks and they still can't figure out what's going on...it might actually be fixed now, but who knows when it will break again for months???

If anyone has an update on this situation I'd love to hear it.  I'm in the same boat as phloog.  Had 12 entries on my account after inquiring a few weeks ago and a week later all but 1 disappeared, and I still have game purchases clearing on my account and giving me nothing on the Gamers Club side.  This is nothing short of false advertising at this point considering I've made purchases at Best Buy because of this program.  I've sent another email to customer service but I have a feeling nothing will be resolved.  I'd love to hear if anything was resolved in the 7-10 days quoted back a few weeks ago.

Try spending thousands of dollars on a tv and two months later, still no points.

Jeff...I think at this point we'll have to just realize that BBY has NO intention of helping you...rather, some might WANT to help, but none of the ones who want to help have the ability or information needed to help.  Chalk this up to lessons learned - never buy anything from Best Buy based on this so-called "loyalty" program...if Best Buy has the best PRICE, get it there.  If it's available for a PENNY less somewhere else, buy it there.  The RZ program is so messed up that you can't EVER trust that they'll actually give you the right points/totals/rewards.
