I did not get points for reviewing my TV purchase

I received an email that said that I will receive 25 my best buy points if I post a review for a TV that I recently purchased. However, its been almost a week since I posted a review and I still have not received the points. May I know when the points will be added to my account? Thanks!

Hello mahesh3524,

 

A great way to earn a few extra points is by submitting product reviews on BestBuy.com.  Our members can earn 25 bonus points by having a product review published on BestBuy.com.  There is a maximum of 200 bonus points (8 reviews) per calendar year per member.  The time frame for those bonus points to post would be the same time frame for points to post for an eligible Best Buy purchase, which would be 20 days.  Has your review been published?  If so, then 25 bonus points should post within 20 days of it being published.

 

With that all having been said, it is really just a matter of waiting a little bit longer.  If for some reason those points have not posted after 20 days, then please feel free to send me a private message and I will see what I can do to further assist.  A private message can be sent by first logging into the forum and then clicking on the blue button in my signature that is labeled "Private Message."

Thanks for the reply. I think my review has been published. I can see it under the reviews on the website. It has not been 20 days since the time I posted the review, so I guess I will have to wait few more days. 

One more question: Can I review the laptop that I bought back in April of this year and get 25 points?

You can submit as many product reviews as you want.  Again, there is a limit of 200 bonus points when it comes to product reviews per member per calendar year.  Also, you don't only have to review products that you have actually purchased from Best Buy.  Just make sure to enter your My Best Buy™ ID # before submitting your review.
