Whenever I give my phone number to a best buy employee for my rewards info they ask me if I'm Adam. Adam hasn't been relevant to this account for over 7 years now, and I'd like to remove his name from showing up in my account information. When I log into my account online I can't find any info about removing a person from the account, nor can I even see his name on any pages. Is this something I have to call in to best buy customer support?

Welcome to the Best Buy forum!
First, a My Best Buy™ account is intended to be used by a single member with that member not sharing their benefits, points, or certificates with anyone else. Unless an account was setup for a business through Best Buy for Business (BBFB), only one member can be tied to an individual account. Second, we cannot transfer ownership of an account from one member to another. Do you know whose name was provided when the account in-question was first created? If Adam's name was provided, then the account would technically belong to him whether or not you currently use it more.
With that having been said, any potential updates to be made to the account will depend on when the account was first created. I should be able to confirm whose name was provided.
