I am really floored with the fact that my Best Buy Rewards expired on 01-13-2017. I have never received an email or any mail at all, in fact, from Best Buy. I have just lost $121.00. Bad policy for retaining customers!

Welcome to the forum! It's always discouraging to see any rewards expire, whether it's points or certificates. Certificates generally expire after 60 days, unless otherwise noted. Points, however, shouldn't expire if you keep your account active.
Using the details you registered with the forum, I was able to take a look at your account and see that it was 121 points that expired due to account inactivity. I apologize if you were unaware of these particular terms, and that your points would expire if there wasn't any activity on your account in a 12 month period. Please know that if your account continues to remain inactive for a total of 24 months, the account will be deactivated.
