My in-store receipt did not print properly so my customer service PIN has missing numbers. I need to enter this info into My Rewards account. How can I get a fresh copy of my receipt or can I find that PIN somewhere in my on-line account?

Thank you. Between what I could read at the top and the bottom of the receipt,I was able to combine the numbers to complete the PIN. I was also able to use that info to report missing points but I got the msg "This transaction has already been added to an account.". This is my account but we used my wife's credit card to pay for the item. How can we register the purchase to collect the rewards point? This was a major purchase and we don't want to lose the points.

Yes, her name appears on the receipt. She used her own credit card, not a Best Buy credit card. But the Member ID on the receipt is mine. She doesn't have a Best Buy account. Do we need to create an account for her at bestbuy.com and add the missing points that way?

It's great to hear you're aware of how to add missing points to your My Best Buy account! With that said, if you encounter the error you mentioned, it generally means the purchase has indeed been added to an account. A sure sign that your purchase has been added to your membership at the time of purchase is if you see the member ID on the receipt. I'm glad to hear you see this on your end. Please keep in mind that purchases may take up to 20 days to reflect on your account.
However, please keep in mind that our My Best Buy memberships are intended for individual use, per the My Best Buy program terms, so purchases made by your wife should be put under an account in her own name.

I will keep checking my account. Since the purchase was made a month ago it should appear soon. So far, it does not appear on my account although as there is a vertical line from top to bottom of missing ink on the printed receipt and I can't read all of the digits of the Member ID. I was able to piece together the Customer Service PIN but not the complete Member ID. I will continue to troubleshoot this.

Update - the membership ID digits that I can read on the receipt do not match up with my BB account and my wife does not have an account. It may be my son's. I will follow up with him to see if that's the case.
