Canceled order with reward certificates on it

Last week I canceled an order on which I used 2 reward zone certificates, but I have not gotten those points credited back to my RZ account.  Neither in-store or email customer service has produced any sort of meaningful response (either "those should be there within the next 24 hours" or "wait 7 - 10 days and let us know").

 

What other options do I have for getting this resolved?

It takes 3 to 5 business days for points to be put back into a member's account. I don't know of any faster or other way.

The people stating "24 hours" don't know what they are talking about and while "7-10 days" is the usual response, that does cover the actual amount of time it normally takes when weekends and holidays are factored in.

The "let us know" part is just plain stupid to say. There have been circumstances from time to time on different issues that delay things from happening, such as the site being down, the servers offline, technicians running around like chickens with their heads cut off, or whatever, but to say "let us know" just means that when whatever the problem is does not get resolved and the member is calling back to "let them know" they then say "wait another 7 - 10 days" which just frustrates the members to no end.

All that said, again the actual time it takes is 3 to 5 business days (even though open on Saturday and Sunday, those are not typically considered business days). If it has been longer then state this and when a Community Connector gets to this post they will look into it and open up a dialogue with you directly.

How long before a Community Connector comes along? Don't take this the wrong way... but 3 to 5 business days. The CC's don't work on weekends, and they are reading alot of threads, tracking down problems plus doing their daily offline work.

I love Best Buy even though I work for a competitor, I do not now nor have I ever worked for Best Buy.

I canceled the order this past Thursday so I'm still within range of the 3 - 5 business days.

 

Guess we'll see what happens in a couple days.
