Can't add rewardzone # to profile

So whenever I try to add my rewardzone # to my profile, I get:

 

"Some of the information in this BestBuy.com account does not match the information that is associated with this Reward Zone member ID. Please check your member ID and try again."

 

I can log into both bestbuy.com and the reward zone site just fine, but I can't get the card number to be added properly on bestbuy.com

This is a known glitch in the system. You no doubt had a BestBuy.com account before getting the RZ number.

A Community Connector will be along in a few days, send you a PM asking for your information and will connect them.

Otherwise, if you have a different email address, you could "open" a new BestBuy.com account linking your RZ number to it right away. I did this years ago and it accepted it right away. The downside is, you may need to link a different credit card number as well. I didn't have a credit card linked at the time so it was easy for me to just use a different email address.

But waiting for a Community Connector is probably your easiest route.

I love Best Buy even though I work for a competitor, I do not now nor have I ever worked for Best Buy.
