If i send it to my brother, will he be able to use it or do they make sure the original account holder is the only one that uses it?

It does state in the program rules that only the account holder may use the certificate. If you went to the store with the person you wanted to give it to I would imagine that would be fine then as you are there. Otherwise whats to say you don't say they were stolen and want the money back. The example was not saying you are doing that but more so as a reference as to why they don't allow it.

Hi hazedragon45,
Thank you for your question, just like Walrus explained, Reward Certificates are not transferable and may only be used by the member to whom they are issued. This means that you may be required to show identification at the time of purchase. Reward Certificates have no cash value.

Bottom line, no one is going to know if you give your certs to another person. I have never been asked for ID or anything else in all the times I buy every week from BB (which is many times a week). The honest answer is YES you can give them to anyone.. The written text is NO you cant but honestly no one checks.. Does it violates BB policy? I am sure it does.. Are you ever going to get caught or asked for ID.. Honestly answer NO
