Hello,

I was thinking about getting the latest EEE Slider tablet and wanted something a little compact, so I wanted to take my gateway laptop back for this through exchange. The tablet is $480 and the laptop is $500 (w/o tax). I had this laptop since Feb of this year and the warranty is still good too. I was hoping BB would let me exchange it for the lesser value of the tablet. But since this laptop has been used, there are no blimishes or anything on it, I could at least get it valued 480? Not sure.

You can't do an exchange/return. You can do a trade in on the laptop and get a prorated refund on the protection plan. Go to bb.com, click trade in on the bottom, and put in the info for a quote. I can tell you it most likely won't be anywhere near that amount.

Hello, I just want to say thanks for your help. One thing I wanted to know if I plan to go forth with the trade in, can I get the warranty transferred to the tablet I wanted to get?

No, however you can get a prorated refund on the laptop's plan and apply that towards buying the tablets plan.
