im thinking of buying a GeForce 9400 gt for my computer, upgraded from a GeForce 6150 se

will this run WoW Wotlk without lag on high settings?

That card should run WOW with no problems at all.

But You can also experiance lag from your internet speed.

i have road runner so it shouldnt be a prob

 but heres my comp specs

AMD anthlon x2 5000 dual core

3g ram

320 gb hd

That is a nice setup. If you with a new videocard you will need to look into upgrading the power supply also. The majority of stock power supplies in retail computers will not support anything higher than a Nvidia 8800gt.

I'd look at at least the 9600 series. The 9400 is really only to give a bit of a boost to someone who currently has integrated, and just wants to watch videos without stuttering.

At the minimum a 9500GT, if your going to go cheap.  This is the least you should buy if purchasing instead of using onboard video.  You WILL see some lag in Dalaran and what not. End result, you get what you pay for.  Hope this helps

    I agree that you better get a better power supply to get the best performance. This will help you play your games better.
