I purchased this digital download maybe 2 days ago, and it's taken a day to download && now that it's finally done, it won't install. I clicked manual install once it was done downloading & nothing happens. I've restarted my comuter, removed the Best Buy PC app & re-installed and still nothing. My computer can handle the game as it is a brand new HP computer & I already have the base game for the Sims 3. What am I doing wrong?!?!

I can understand you being upset with not being able to install your Sims 3 Pets digital download, especially since it took a whole day to download.  I'm really sorry about that.

I'm not sure what might be preventing you from installing the game as it seems you've followed all of the proper steps to download and troubleshoot it.  I am reaching out to the team that handles the PC App to see if they might know and will follow up with you as soon as I hear back.  Thank you for your patience in the meantime.

Thanks a bunch. You are the ONLY one to offer any type of help after a whole day spent searching online & being passed around on the phone by customer service reps. Please let me know what you find out because I'd LOVE to play this game & not have to re-purchase it. I don't have the money for it.

Sorry for the delay but I may have something for you to try with your Sims 3 Pets digital download if you are still having issues. You can do a manual install of the game by navigating to its location on your hard drive and clicking the executable file.  You will need to have hidden folders disabled or "showing" in order to find this folder but here is the path:

C:\Users\ [User Name] \AppData\Local\Best Buy pc app\DigitalShelf\Sims 3 Pets

Where is says "User Name" you would select your user name and then continue navigating through the folders.
