Iv just bought the new sims 3 today from GAME and when i started the instalation it was fine, then it asked me 2 questions (something to do with improvemtns and leader board) but when i clicked next it just froze completly on me, so all could do was end the task.

but the shorcut was on the desktop so i thought id check if it worked, and it come up with a message saying cant find sims3_setup.exe. therefore i couldnt get past that point which i knew it wasnt gunna be running becuase it never finnished installing lol

anyway, all i could do was un-install it and re install it but now everytime i try to un-install it it goes through the process of un-installing but when you click finnish its still notgone from my computer, iv tried removing from programme files, iv tried system restore but i think either something is faulty with the disk or its gave me some sort of irus that wont let me get rid of it (so basically i cant get the sim3 to install becuase everytime i now insert the disk it keeps saying do you want to un-install? but when it has gone through installing it still doesnt go) so what a waste of £35 for a game that i cnat even get off my computer to try and install it again haha

anybody have any clue whats happend and why its not going when its finnished un-installing

have you checked the tech support site for the sims and see if others are having the problem?
