I bought Skyrim and got the email saying it is ready to download. I installed PC App and when I try to log in it says there is a problem with the external service. I called Best Buy and got hung up on the first time. I called back and they said it was a problem with compatability of my computer. I have a new computer. Just to be safe I turned off all my firewalls. Then I tried to make a new account and it gave me the external service error. Now I read in these forums that people have trouble all the time with pc app all the time. The first woman I talked to did not even know what pc app was and kept asking me to spell it. Really? It's YOUR app. I am going to call and get my money back and just try to buy the game. I went to Best Buy last night and the guy there told me people just don't play PC games anymore so they don't get many of them and I should download it digitally. I have a huge family and we buy a lot of computer stuff and all of it from Best Buy. I am so dissapointed in them right now.

been haveing proplems loging into the best buy pc app been working on it for over a hour now. every time i log in i get " The street name is invalid." in red under the password box is the same place were invaild email or password would be. spent over half an hour on the phone trying to get it fix and got no were. cheecked my address and mad sure they were corect and still had the problems

I see that you have some open cases with our PC App support team but it doesn't look like they've resolved your issue yet. The "street name invalid" problem is likely the result of a discrepancy in your address listed in multiple locations with us. If you are still looking for assistance, I would be happy to see what I can do if you would want to send me a private message with an update of where you're at.

I also have had problems logging in. The first time I called about it, I got hung up on twice when they transferred me all over the place, then I finally got someone who told me to try again in an hour. It's been about two, and I still get the same "error with the external service." I called for support, got transferred around a couple times again, and have been holding for maybe 20 minutes now. I actually still have the phone to my ear as I'm typing this.
It's a shame; the price was good and I'm all in favor for reducing packaging by supporting direct downloads, but at this moment I would definitely appreciate having a physical disc that I could install from instead of getting the same error repeatedly and getting bounced around when I call about it.

Ha, classic. I got fed up holding so I cancelled my order. Just for kicks, I tried logging in again another hour later and it worked. Only the game I bought is now sold out online (still haven't figured that one out, it's not like running out of discs or boxes), so serves me right for not being patient I guess

We actually ran into some issues with our PC App service yesterday and that was likely the cause of the problems you were having. We have since fixed them but I'm really sorry that that led to you eventually cancelling your order. You should be able to use the app just fine now.
