I ordered Dream Day Anniversary from Best Buy Online a month ago.  Here is the problem:  When the specific game Dream Day Honeymoon loads and I click to play it; the last 5 items on the left hand menu (listing objects to be located) are obstructed by a large blue circular emblem/image with the words "Transgaming Technologies) and another obstructive symbol w/words "Swiftshader Software 3D Rendering"  It totally blocks the names of the last 5 items from the menu where the name of the objects are listed.  This seems to be a terrible oversight on the part of whoever packaged this software version on this game.  How on earth do I get rid of these emblems so I can see the menu to play the game.

If Best Buy cannot provide a solution, can I return the game and get my $ back?
  How can this product be sold to the public with such an error in the HMoon game that prevents it from being played.  What happened to Quality Control?


PS:  Previous to the purchase of the DDAnniversary CD from Best Buy, I bought the standalone game of Dream
Day Honeymoon at best Buy.  It is a different version:  (Version  1.0.4.4806 )  On that version, the aforementioned obstructive emblems are not showing.   The anniversary set version of DDHoneymoon is 1.0.4.4238 (an earlier version)

I would appreciate any assistance to resolve this problem; thanks so much!

This is something you'll have to work with the software publisher on, as BB is just the retailer. I would recommend going to their website and looking at their support pages.

As for returning it, opened media is only eligible for an exchange for the same product, not a return, unless defective. To prove to them that it is defective, if you have a laptop, I'd bring it in and show them the problem with the game. They'll be much more likely to allow you to return it.

Your issue is a driver issue, there has been numerous reports of the game from the developers website regarding this issue. Could you try updating your computer drivers on your computer first ( most specifically the video card drivers) and see if you can overcome the issue?

The developer is also very helpful in working with customers to resolve such issues.

I would like to read the posts and contact the developers so I can secure a solution.

How can this be an issue with my video driver as my computer is a brand new laptop that I bought in December?
All drivers are up to date...

If you haven't updated your drivers since December, you're most likely out-of-date. Drivers are often released once or twice a month for current products.

I performed the video driver update from the HP website.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and no change.
Dream Day Wedding and Dream Day First Home games contained on this trio set are fine.  It is just the Dream Day Honeymoon that has the glitch.  Drivers are all up to date, so that is not the issue.

I again ask for the specific website so I can view the posts for this similar issue directly.

I think the developer of the game is a company called Playfirst.

Has the executable name been modified? Try renaming it to the original one.
