I've researched a few threads regarding the manually download button not working after getting the download error message. I downloaded the Sims 3 on an older computer a few months ago, and wanted to install it on another computer (my other one stopped working). I've gotten into the Sims 3 folder in the digital shelf, but what do I do from there in order to install it? Some help would be greatly appreciated, but I'm in no rush.

If you have successfully downloaded Sims 3 again via PC App on that other computer, you should be able to install it by locating the executable file in that Digital Shelf folder.  If there isn't any such file, there may have been a problem with the download, which also might be why the "Manual Install" button didn't work.  Have you tried re-downloading the game from your "My Downloads" section?

Also, some games limit the number of computers you can install them on so keep that in mind.
