I recently purchased two games from bestbuy.com (Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, and Rainbow Six:Vegas), and I then downloaded the Best Buy PC app so that I may download these games. The games appear in the "my downloads" section of the PC app, yet I cannot download them. Whenever I attempt to download anything, I am quickly presented with an error message, and that which I'm trying to download will be put in a queued status. I can't understand why this is happening, as I have the open space on my hard drive to download the games that I've purchased, and these games should work with my with my OS (Windows 7).

Hello Amazingmackerel,
That's certainly a strange situation. So the games are showing up in your "My Downloads" section but giving you an error when you attempt to download them. What does that error message say?

The message that I receive when attempting to download anythings is one of the strangest parts about this.
All that I am told is that "there was an unexpected problem with the application". I can't say that I have any idea what's casuing this problem.

Hey again Amazingmackerel,
Yeah, as DetectionHD mentioned, the error you described sounds similar to others we've seen so the fix may be the same. I can't be certain of that but I have reached out to the PC App team for their insight and I'll get back to you as soon as I hear from them (should be early next week). Thanks for your continued patience.

Amazingmackerel,
We should have everything straightened out with the games you were trying to download now if you would like to re-download them and try again. It sounds like there was just a little discrepancy caused by an update in how the developer sorts their game files and how PC App was searching for them. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by that but let me know if you any further questions.

I've downloaded the update, yet nothing has changed.
I'm stil getting the exact same error that I mentioned a week ago.

Amazingmackerel - When you say you've "downloaded the update" do you mean you re-downloaded the entire game via PC App? Just a little clarifying question because the word "update" sometimes implies an add-on download to your current game but I was intending for you to re-downloaded the entire game.
Also, I was just relaying a message from our PC App team so I may have overlooked an important step for this fix. Before re-downloading the game files to correct the issue, you should also remove all existing game files so there's no remnant of the discrepancy, if that makes sense. So, if you are willing to try that re-download again, here how you do that:
Let me know if that helps.

What I mean to say is that the Best Buy PC app updated when I first opened it.
As I stated earlier though, I am still completely unable to download anything. I cannot even get the .exe files so that I may install these products manually

Ok, I will check with the PC App team again. I'm sorry; I thought the update we did to the game files would have allowed you to download them but we'll see what they say about the error.
