Yes, I just did the same earlier today and my gift cards were reimbursed after about 10-15 minutes of cancelling my order.

OK so can we hear from a best buy official about the progress of a physical box copy with pre purchase bonuses?

also, if i do end up needing to break down and buy the digital download pre purchase how do i go about getting my code? Does it need to be through this best buy pc app? because i have never used it and i would rather not have to go through the trouble of using it since it seems to be messing up for many people, is that the only way or is there another means of getting the code?

ohh the confusion lol if guild wars 2 didnt look so awesome there is no way i would be going through all of this..

eh. i fixed it. what i did is i canceled my physical copy, used a different bestbuy account, signed into the app (just to make sure i could) then re-bought the digital copy. everything works, keycode and all, except now when i hit "download" there is a download error. im assuming that'll be fixed in time for either a beta weekend is actually up, OR when they decide to fix it.

When is Best Buy going to offer Collectors Edition Pre Purchase? Between gamestop and best buy I'd like to choose to lesser of the two evils -.-

Its been a few days since BB said they would have the pre-purchase or pre-order on the CE. However, we still do not have any news on that. At the same time, gamestop is happely selling tons of pre-purchase.

To those getting "Download Error" when trying to get the client from the PC App - From all the information I have found, it doesn't look like we'll be getting the client this way.  The email you get when you register your key on register.guildwars2.com specifically states that a later email will contain a link to download the client, so patience is the key here.

Still waiting patiently to hear more from a Best Buy Community Connector for an update on the GW2 CE physical pre-purchase.

Kidding aside, any info you could provide would be appreciated. If getting the CE from BB is still possible, that is great. If not, then that is fine too, but it would be nice to get a final decision, so that I can spend my money one way or the other.

I to went to my local BB and paid for 2 pre-orders. I got Registration ID's on my reciepts for them that don't work. I would love to know why. When I bought them the website said it came with the beta access and headstart. It kind of seems like that was false? A reply would be much appriciated.
