Gaming Computer

I'm looking to buy a computer preferably a laptop (although I'd settle for a reasonably sized desktop) to play the new "world of warcraft: cataclysm" as well as other games like "Halo: Reach", "Civilization" series. Other things I'd be looking to do are downloading music, using office for school work, and surfing the web (IE facebook, youtube, wikipedia). I'd like the graphics and sound to be fairly nice on the computer instead of freezing sometimes and lagging the rest of the time. my price range is about 750-950 for the computer as well. I don't have much preference to brand but do have more experience with windows than mac.

Re: Gaming Computer

if you're going to be doing gaming, desktops are much more cost effective.

Do you already have a monitor?

Re: Gaming Computer

I currently use a laptop, I have a couple old monitors (Windows 98 era) that I would rather not use.

Sorry for the huge link, pretty much any of those will be decent, since you also need a monitor.

Re: Gaming Computer

Note : They won't be extreme gaming machines, by any means, but they "should" run the games on low-mid settings.
