Heya folks.
Noticed an old PC game in my collection called "Lords of Magic." Anyone else ever played it? I greatly enjoyed it but would like to play something more up to date. Suggestions for similar games?

I've never played Lords of Magic but I did just do some research (aka Google it) and I think I missed out. That game looks like it was awesome. I love turn-based strategy.
Have you ever played the any of the X-COM games? Particularly X-COM UFO Defense, one of my favorite PC games of all time. They are kind of old school like the one you mentioned but they are also turn-based strategy and amazing games.
Plus, they are remaking it and I'm SUPER pumped to play the new version, especially since Firaxis is doing it (Sid Meier's team who brought us Civilization). Also, don't get confused because there are actually two different studios doing remakes of X-COM right now. The Sid Meier team is doing XCOM: Enemy Unknown and 2K Games is doing one called just XCOM, which is kind of a new take on the original story and more of a real-time first person shooter - a far cry from an isometric turn-based strategy.
