My order says the same thing, "in processing", and I think that is still a good sign since it means that the order is still valid as opposed to being canceled. I believe the next status should be "shipped" and that cannot happen until Best Buy has the physical CE box in possession.

Is yours for in store pickup?

Nope. I ordered it online a day before the official release date, so it is shipped to me directly.

I think you should be worried. I ordered my copy of Diablo III CE on March 15, 2012. I then received a couple of cryptic messages in late March about there being problems "authorizing" my payment method, but when I called the customer service number, they advised that the authorization was fine.
I then received an email on Sunday May 6, 2012 at 11:00 P.M. advising that my order had been CANCELLED because - once again - the payment method could not be "authorized". I double-checked with my bank and there were no problems with my account. Of course, Best Buy's customer service department was conveniently closed at that hour, so I could do nothing until Monday morning.
So, I called Monday and was told, in no uncertain terms, that my order was gone, there was nothing they could do, and that I could avoid problems like this in the future by making pre-order purchases with a GIFT CARD so that the charge would process immediately. There was no real clear answer as to why the "authorization" problem occurred - they did admit that the card wasn't declined, but couldn't offer much else about what the problem was other than that they apparently submit some sort of "pre-authorization" periodically throughout the time period before the card is actually charged. No offers to put me in line for another copy, no effort to re-instate the order, just a big, fat "sorry our system sucks" from Best Buy. They just lost another customer (at a time when - let's face it - they can't afford to).
Horrible horrible horrible pre-order system. Cancelled orders should be FROZEN to allow customers a chance to correct issues. If they have no more regard for their customers than this, I have no need to continue to buy from them.

Hi Blackfx,
Welcome to the forum and thank you for your post regarding your copy of Diablo III. I also got your PM but I figured I would answer you here.
I was able to pull up your order with the email listed in your forum profile and your order is set to go on 5.15.12. Most of time, preorders will stay in some sort of "verification" or "processing" status, until the game is released. At that time, you should receive an email notification saying your order is ready to be picked up at the store.
I hope that helps ease some of your worries, and if you have other questions, please let me know!
Regards,
