Listen guys it does not sound good that it will be fixed soon....alll i suggest is you call Best Buy and ask to speak to customer relations and complain...do not waste anymore time being transfered to Geek Squad or some other usless department...like i stated before after today my brother and i have spent three days trying to get in touch with someone who can fix it. and as of 4 oclock today no one can..Basically no one knows. Best Buy promised something and cant deliver...so call costomer relations and see what they will do for you so you can have the game at least by tuesday even if you have to go to the store and pick it up...

This is ridiculous, I could understand if they bit off more than they could chew when their system went belly up 3 days ago but to leave the service up so people would pay and get trapped three days later is fraudulent and confirms my initial opinion that big box stores are overpriced dinosaurs that apparently offer crappy service in addition to the premium markups you pay in their stores.
Best buy, this is a PRE-ORDER.... that means you have 26 hours before your product is no longer valid at all.
Stupid me for thinking Best Buy could deliver a decent product for once.

I have preordered the Battlefield 3 Preorder and I have attempted to download this game 6 times and everytime it ends in error. If I attempt to redownload the program after an error it will not redownload unless I remove and reinstall the BBY PC APP program. Even when I uninstall it, it seems to only partially uninstall. As when I reinstall the program the installer only repairs the program instead of a complete and brand new install. I have gotten as far as 59% in the download before it ends up failing. Please advise as what is going on in this situation here.

Same problem here. I wouldn't have bought from Best Buy, but I won a $50 gift card so I figured why not. Big mistake. I was up to 70% when I got the same download error. And, of course, instead of it simply picking back up from 70%, it started all over.
I called customer support last night, which was anything but helpful. After being on hold for 30 minutes and getting bounced around 2 or 3 times, I finally spoke to someone who supposedly deals with the PC App program and should be knowledgeable about this. She said she couldn't help me unless I gave her the serial key for the game - which obviously I won't have until Tuesday when the game is released! So now I'm waiting for a call back from someone else in the next 48-72 hours. In the meantime BF3 will be released and I won't be able to play.
I never shopped at Best Buy for reasons like this, but in the future I think I would even consider selling gift cards I get to their stores. Better than having to go through junk like this again.

Yeah, it's pretty annoying. Atleast you can ATTEMPT to download it. My order is stuck in pre-order purgatory and NO ONE, HERE OR ON THE PHONE KNOWS WHY. Pre-order my as s. Class action lawsuit anyone? FALSE ADVERTISEMNT! I WAN'T THE GAME I PAID FOR!

Seriously - BBY won't be able to deliver on time?
The whole point of the pre-order was so that we could play when the game on release day.

Tag them and alert them to the fact that BBY is not delivering for its customers one of the biggest and most anticipated games of the year.
