I understand the point of the "pc app" is so that people just can just click and play - but, there does not seem to be any way to configure it whatsoever.

Is there a way that I could change the directory of where I would like my games downloaded (my C: drive has plenty of space, but I would simply like to keep all my games on another partition)?

On a separate note, Im getting "download error" whenever I try to download BF3 - what the heck?

I can only hope its because of the weekend and we will have some sort of answer today... if not we need some form of reinbursment. It sucks even more since I lost an important family member the day it comes out, and that was going to help me get through it hopefully, not anymore...

Just got off the phone with BB. Their response was "well uhh, we don't really know why you're getting that message. Just wait until you get the game, call us back, complain and ask for some kind of compensation. Yeah F this, I'm cancelling my pre-order. Thank a lot Best Buy. You fail.

Same problem here. I'm supposed to get a call back in 48-72 hours, but I highly doubt they will have any clue how to fix this. It's obviously a problem on their end that they just don't care about fixing. I can't believe I spent $55 and have received nothing in return.

I just Purchased Battlefield 3 a few days ago, left it on to download while i went out of town, never went 1%, got a download error, i tried it again when i got home, same thing 30 minutes later, download error, i Feel as if i got jipped out of my money because of a terrible download service, im guessing im not the only one.... Some feedback as to solutions wouldbe very helpful.

Let me revise that, the download started after i reinstalled the app... then ... my computer restarted, download was @ 10% and is now back to 0..

Is it normal that your installer cant save its place when the pc is reset?

I very very very much doubt ill ever think im saving $ buy buying from best buy again, digital downloads are so bugged its unreal that this is a huge congolmerate.

Roughly 24 Hours ago I made a preorder for Battlefield 3 On Bestbuy.com, having seen the substantial preorder/preload bonuses provided. Since then, I've checked my e-mail and the site every couple of hours hoping that my order will update from "In Process," as my money was cleared from my bank account the exact instant I pressed the 'order' button. Bear in mind, the purpose of my choosing Best Buy was to preload the game before it goes live, so that I may play it immediately and without worry; I'm becoming more alarmed as time goes on that this quandry is going to persist beyond the release date and it's going to lower my opinion of the Best Buy name.
