ok first wasnt a personal attack at you, just that his issue isnt that he doesnt have an account or cant download its that he is getting an unknown error from the app that will not allow him to sign in, the same exact error i got on a different pc, which points to an issue with the app or something with their server, so again im just saying that you dont exactly understand the issue

It's clear this app will not work, is there a way in your knowledge that they can just send a serial number to it then I can download it elsewhere? Maybe through Origin? Otherwise this will not work whatsoever.

Same freaking story here. My brother purchased me the digitial dl and i got an email to grt my gift...I follow the instructions and it says cannot display web page....yada..yada...So i install the pc app...and the game does not show under my downloads....I cal and my brother who ordered it called...together we were on the phone with Best Buy for over 8 hrs including being on hold....besides the fact of being transfered to poeple who could not help and getting the run around....basically nobody at best buy could help...So I unistall the PC app  and cleared it from my registry ...I got to try and reinstall the PC app and now I get missing files error so it is definatley with Best Buy and not my PC....Best Buy tells me they put a ticket in and i will be contacted in 3-5 days.....hello this is a pre order....It is sad that as big as a company best buy is they have no support really for their online app or digital Down loads....so the guy says he will nock $10 off....I said why dont you add $10 and just send me the disk nextday air or let me go pick it up from a best buy by me....This is rediculouse...I feel your pain

I'm shocked you can even log in to that worthless app. I tried to restore the files, still nothing. Still apparently missing Best Buy pc app.exe.config, best buy pc app.exe. deploy, best buy pc app.exe.manifest, best buy pc app.application, clickoncesetup.exe, Clickonceuninstaller.exe, bestbuypcappdetector.ocx, bestbuypcappdetector.dll, best buy pc app launcher.exe, Module C:\ProgramData\Best Buy PC App\BestBuyPcAppDetector.ocx Failed to register. HRESULT 2147024770. Contactor your support personnel.

Yeah it was weird that iwhen i first ldownloaded the app I could log on but when i was talking to Best Buy and they brought up my account they could nopt see the PC app attached to my account ...hence why i unistalled it and tried to reinstall it thinking something got jacked....and now the dang thing wont install..."sigh" Why offer something or have something you cant support is beyand me.....and total BS....They should of had techs on standby knowing there we going to be people pre ordering.....calling today and will keep posted ...I will be amazed if soon enough Best buys doors will be closing  in the near futture if this crap keeps up....because if you by a computer from them...you cant update the bios either...along with all the other shadiness...I am sure it is only a matter of time ..

You're right, soon enough their doors will be closing because there are great companies out there like newegg with great customer service. Its not looking like I will be able to reinstall this app, so I have no idea how I'll be able to get this to work... So much for preordering and playing on launch...

on the phone again with Best Buy and got one of the Geek Squad to try and down load the PC app and they got the same file  errors...so now  I am on hold while they try and contact digital River....and see whats up....this is rediculouse

Whoa whoa whoa... what?! Geek squad told me the way their internet is set up they can only access certain sites, and the only way they could look at it was if I brought in my tower and paid 65$... scam artists, I'm not surprised, this is the second time I've caught them on their bs.

Well Geek Squad lied to ya....lol.....everytime you talk to someone you get a different story....Best Buy is for people who do not know anything aboput computers or anything....soon enough little by little that will change ...I was not going to paythem to go onto my computer just to see that it was their stuff....
