Unrecognized Geek Squad Charge

Good morning,

I just got off the phone with my bank and they tell me I have a charge to my credit card for a Geek Squad service that I never acquire. The charge was made on august 2nd for 1,290 mexican pesos (about 80 dollars).

I do not know why this charge was made but I hope you can help me clarity this situation or I will have to start a formal investigation with my bank.

Hmm, would you have gone to a Best Buy in Mexico? If so, I'm not sure the US based Best Buy corporate reps could assist you. I believe it works similarly to the Canadian based Best Buy where they're the same over arching company, but their systems are different and you would need to head over to www.bestbuy.com.mx and follow their steps for assistance.

Welcome to the forum. I can imagine it would be shocking to discover a charge on your account for a subscription you do not remember purchasing. 

 

According to our records, it looks like you made a purchase on 05/28 and that included an anti-virus software. I recommend calling +612-292-0995 and requesting a cancel refund of this subscription.
