Still no refund

Attempted to purchase a new cell phone in December with Verizon as the carrier. The order was cancelled by best buy as Verizon would not allow another phone on my plan. I paid the tax upfront. I have called several times since then trying to get my money back and still have not received a refund. What else do I need to do????

Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to post regarding a refund that you’re having trouble getting from a purchase in December. I’d be happy to see what I may be able to assist you with.

 

Can you please confirm how much you’re still showing that you’ve been charged? While reviewing your purchase I can see that Best Buy may have charged you for a free item that shipped to your home that was included in the purchase. According to our Return & Exchange Promise you were charged for that item after the paid for item was cancelled. Upon return the free item the refund was incorrectly calculated the new price for it.

 

I’m in the process of reaching out to our back office teams that can review purchases to ensure that everything is corrected. Once I hear back from them I’d be happy to share their findings with you, and hopefully will have good news that this is resolved.

Hi Mariah I hope you can assist me. You are correct there was a free wireless charger included with the deal. I returned the charger to the store and did not receive a refund but I did receive a receipt showing I returned it. I expected the charges to be refunded after I made that return however there has never been a refund nor any email contact regarding the refund being processed.

I have great news! This matter should be resolved now, and an email should've been sent you to simply stating your order has been udpated. Please let me know if you don't see your credit within 3-5 business days.

Hi Mariah just wanted to update you on the fact that I have still not received a refund or any contact emails from Best Buy. This has been ongoing for months now and I have been told multiple times the issue is resolved and still no refund. How do I escalate this problem?

Thank you for reaching back to me regarding this matter. I apologize that you may not be seeing your credit for your return yet. On your behalf, I've reached out to our Back Office team to have them double check the correction they applied for us a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you for your patience on this matter. Our back office teams state the financial correction was done on 1/12, and we did get confirmation from your financial institution they accepted the credit. 

 

In a few minutes, I'll be sending you some further information on that. At this time I'd recommend reaching out to your financial institution to discuss this matter.

Thank you for your assistance I see the deposit. I had several transactions going on with best buy at that time and I thought this deposit was for another return. Thanks again!
