Sedgwick

My truck was damaged in a bestbuy parking lot by a cart because there aren't any cart return outside the store. Bestbuy put my claim into Sedgwick and nothing has been done. I sent in all information that was requested. The incident happened on Jan 2 and the police came and reviewed the video surveillance. The persons that was put on the claim from insurance company will not return any of my calls or emails. My own personal insurance company contacted him also and I still can't get a response. I've also tried to contact the main number for Sedgwick and can't get a response.

I’m terribly sorry to hear about the mishap in the parking lot. I can imagine how distressful this must be. I’d be happy to provide information regarding the options available.

 

Best Buy does not own the parking lots the properties sit on. Since they are classified as public property, the primary recourse is to continue and work through your personal insurance provider. I understand this is a frustrating experience and I genuinely hope it gets resolved for you quickly.

I don't feel I should have to go through my insurance. I was told at bestbuy that it would be covered my their insurance. All I'm like looking for is a way to contact Sedgwick and actually talk to a person

Javier is correct in stating that we do not own the parking lots and is probably why you are having such a hard time trying to reach out to a representative at Sedgwick Best Buys insurance company.  Since they cover claims that directly deal with Best Buy I wouldn't think that public property would be covered.  We have red lines that mark our property and we cannot cross that red line while on the clock.  I do apologize that you had damage to your vehicle, but the information that was provided in store was not quite accurate and Javier is the corporate employee that offered his official response.

The only number we have to reach Sedgwick is 1-855-832-1338. They’re available Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm CST. I understand how upsetting this must be. If you’re looking to speak with them directly, I recommend leaving a message with your information and they should be contacting you promptly.
