I attempted to return an antenna to the Best Buy store #2990 in Chesterfield, VA yesterday. I had my receipt, credit card, ID, & was within the 14 day limit for returns. I was told they could only issue a store credit as I had returned too many items recently. I do not see this policy posted anywhere in the store or online. I am posted to Facebook to get this policy clarified as being an older woman I rely on trial & error a great deal when I buy electronics. Needless to say I cannot go to Best Buy anymore for my purchases.

Welcome to the forum. I always like to check out the other customer reviews when deciding on what to buy whether it be electronics, clothes, or shoes but there are times when it's better to test out a product for ourselves to see if it fits our needs. That is the reason we have offer our Return and Exchange promise.
However, in order to keep our prices low, we have partnered with The Retail Equation (TRE) to monitor our returns. They help us ensure that the levels of returns are not such that we must raise our prices to avoid heavy losses. I understand your disappointment when you were told that you could not return your antenna but it sounds like they were willing to work with you by offering you store credit. If you were flagged by TRE they should have provided a phone number where you can request a report of your returns, and file any disputes.
Thank you for posting here on the forum,

I will not be buying anything else from Best Buy so I would not be able to use a store credit.
I am going to check with my local Better Business Bureau to see if this is legal as the Returns Section doesn't say anything about this. It states returns are refunded to orgininal method of payment if taken to the store within 14 days of purchase.
I was never informed of a policy like this. I do not think this is fair at all. Guess this is the reason people are buying from Amazon. I hate to leave Best Buy as I have used them for over 20 years for electronics but I must.
