Replacement for a lost BB Gift Card

Hello, 

 

I was issued a BB gift card of $100 in DEC 2016 which was missplaced, so want to find a way to get it replaced/re-issued. The gift card was in lieu of an online order return. I have the return receipt which has the last 4-digits of the gift card.(the receipt # as well as the online order #) 

 

On going to the store i was asked to call customer service and on calling the customer service i was asked to visit the store. I called the customer service 3 times and visited the store 4 times, but still there is no solution. Each one representative send me to other. I have been going in circles since 3 weeks.

Going around in circles is the last thing we want any of our customers to deal with when they are looking for help with a misplaced Gift Card.  We are so thankful for bringing this to our attention on the Best Buy forums. 

 

Does Best Buy replace lost or stolen gift cards?

We can replace the remaining balance on a lost, stolen or damaged gift card, as long as you have the original purchase receipt. Please call 1-888-716-7994. The terms and conditions state lost, stolen or damaged cards replaced only with valid proof of purchase to extent of remaining card balance.   

 

Using the information provided when registering for the forums, I was unable to locate any of the phone calls, or location you have been speaking with.  I’d be more than willing to take a closer look with some more information.  Send me a private message containing your full name, order number, customer service pin, and shipping address.
